See it in action: David Suzuki FoundationCHALLENGE:Most Canadians are time-challenged. Our busy professional and personal lifestyles leave us with reduced free time. If we are not in our cars going from A to B, we are sitting at our desks or in front of our screens at home. While we are proud of our beautiful Canadian sceneries, for the most part we only get to enjoy it when we’re our holidays – or walking our dogs. This nation relishes its geography and natural resources so much that these are the underpinning of our art, culture, literature, and everything that is “Canadian”. But we are rapidly losing this connection, using the excuse that we just don’t have the time. Meanwhile, we have to legislate to get children to go play outdoors; we worry about obesity, and the effects of stress.
OBJECTIVE: ENCOURAGE CANADIANS TO SPEND 30 MINUTES PER DAY IN NATURE. 30 DAYS IN A ROW – AND SEE WHAT ONE OBSERVES ABOUT ONESELF.
SOLUTION: We created an interactive web banner that, when tapped, suggests the nearest Nature Lunch spots nearest you. It also links to a mobile APP.
